Buck Scheel is in his second season as the top Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at National Powerhouse State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO. Scheel accepted an offer to become an Assistant at the NJCAA D1 level, leaving the helm as Head Coach at NJCAA D2 Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa, which he held for 3 seasons. Coach Scheel specializes in player development and game management.
Scheel played two years at Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, Nebraska and was a captain and team MVP. After LSC, Scheel finished his playing career at Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa and then served the program as an assistant coach for one season. Scheel prepped at Columbus High School (Nebraska) where he led his team to a state runner-up finish in 2001.
Scheel is the primary Women's Staff Coordinator for Midwest Elite Basketball as well as a Camp Instructor and is in his fourth year with the organization. Scheel earned his B.S. from Waldorf College in 2005.
