Midwest Elite Basketball

Eric Nelson was an Assistant Coach at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa for three seasons. Nelson is a 2008 Morningside graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He specializes in player development; in fact, every athlete who stepped foot on the Morningside campus as a Mustang Basketball player worked extensively with Nelson during his 3-year tenure. During his time on staff the Mustangs won 2 Conference Championships and produced 3 All-Americans.

 

Nelson, a native of Laurel, Nebraska, played for the Mustangs' for three seasons. He earned a varsity letter in the 2006-07 season. Nelson is a 2004 graduate of Laurel-Concord High School where he was an All-State player.

 

Nelson is in his 5th year as a Camp Instructor for Midwest Elite Basketball and has worked with over 600 athletes while instructing and directing Midwest Elite Basketball camps.
