Ryan Montgomery is in his fourth season on the Men's Basketball staff at Bemidji State University and in his first season as the top Assistant Coach after being promoted in August. Montgomery served as a Graduate Assistant for two years at BSU before his promotion. He is active in all phases of the program with a specialization in Recruiting, Player Development, and Academics.
Montgomery spent the 2007 season as an assistant coach at Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School. He played college basketball at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn. During Montgomery's senior season he helped lead Hamline to its first MIAC post-season performance in 12 years.
Montgomery is in his third year with Midwest Elite Basketball serving as a Camp Director and Instructor. He earned his Undergraduate Degree in Exercise Sport Science from Hamline University and his Masters Degree in Sport Studies from Bemidji State University.
