JJ Adamson brings a wide range of coaching and playing experience to the Midwest Elite staff.
Adamson's coaching experience covers the full spectrum (from the professional ranks down to elementary) and allows him to connect and tailor his instruction to each individual player. Player development, with a focus on shooting technique and mental preparation is where Adamson specializes.
Coach Adamson recently wrapped up his second season coaching the Springfield Thrill (Missouri) in the United Basketball League. Adamson works with professional athletes whose livelihood depends on the skills they are developing, with three Thrill players earning contracts overseas.
After a high school career that landed him among the career leaders in scoring, assists, and three-point proficiency, Adamson moved on to a college career at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Education from Missouri State University. Adamson serves as a Camp Director and Instructor for Midwest Elite Basketball and is in his second year with the organization.
