Sam Holden is entering his fifth season as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Black Hills State University in 2012-2013 and his first as the top, full-time Assistant. Holden is active in all phases of the program. Prior to his appointments in Spearfish, SD; Holden was on Dave Boot's staff at NCAA Division 1 University of South Dakota for one season.
A two-year player for the Men's Basketball Program at Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD; Holden earned his Bachelors degree from Black Hills State University in 2010. He earned his Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership in 2012.
Holden is in his second year as a member of the Midwest Elite Basketball Orginzation; Holden serves as a camp instructor.
